Asamoah Gyan is a wonderful Ghanaian player. He has from time to time grabbed news headlines with his amazing striking prowess. His talent has pushed him far and has helped the Black Star captain make so much money. His big money moves to both the UAE and China saw him become one of the highest paid footballers on earth. He received a lot of bashing from lovers of the game both home and abroad about his transfers. But Baby Jet as he is popularly called urged all to respect his decision since he made them in consultation with his family. Unlike a lot of his colleagues who go broke or close to it later in their careers, Gyan seems to be going up even though he is a known to spend big and chill even bigger. This week it was announced that Asamoah Gyan has obtained a licence to operate cargo airlines. Among his businesses are;
1. TRANSPORTATION BUSINESS:
Asamoah Gyan has set up a transportation business that can boost of more than 30 coaches which ply on the Accra-Kumasi road.
2. BOXING PROMOTION:
The national team all-time scorer has a boxing promotion business called Baby Jet Promotions. It is responsible for managing boxers like “Gameboy” Emmanuel Tagoe the IBO Lightweight champion.
3. REAL ESTATE:
The real estate industry is booming across Africa. It is a relatively safer and better way of investing money. Baby jet is heavily vested in the real estate industry. He owns a fleet of commercial buildings which he rents out. He also owns hostels and gas stations across the country.
Either than football Baby jet is known to be a musician. He has along with the Castro made some hit tunes that has dazzled Ghanaians. He also owns the ASA Band.
5. IMPORT AND PRODUCTION:
Asamoah Gyan has owns a water producing company called Paradise Pac. Along with this he also has an importing business with handle Vits Noodles and Rice.
6. EVENTS AND LOGISTICS:
Early this year Baby Jet set up an event and logistics company called JetLink Events and Logistics. The company set to employ over 200 people.
The Black Star captain has confidently said in an interview that he will never go broke. And rightly so Baby Jet is now delving into the airline industry and is a brand ambassador to several companies like Melcom and Unibank Ghana.
